Geographically, Brynygwin Country House & Self Catering Cottages could hardly be better located. Situated close to the Snowdonia Natonal Park in a completely rural setting with 5 acres of mature informal garden full of colourful shrubs and fine trees, fields to either side, 12 acres of woodland above, and a river for fishing just across the little road hidden below. Yet, nestling way down beneath the mass of Cadair Idris (the 8-mile-long, 9-peak-high mountain range flanking Snowdoniaâs scenic Mawddach estuary), it stands just one level mile west of the market town of Dolgellau and east of the picturesque estuary-head village of Penmaenpool, both accessible by road or trail.
